Story behind The title song

One of my most favorite things to do at Christmas is to turn off all the lights, except for the Christmas tree, and just sit in the quiet, allowing myself to be mesmerized.  I know a lot of you love doing this too! It’s kind of like sitting by a fire isn’t it?  So peaceful…

That is exactly what I was doing when this little song started coming to me.  I was sitting at the piano next to the tree, enjoying the twinkling of the lights.  I completed the song to play in church during Advent.  The title, "Eternal Light", came to me as I thought about the fact that after all the beautiful decorations have been put away, and the excitement of Christmas has come and gone, the light of the Lord remains eternal.
